Crans Montana is located in southern Switzerland, east of Geneva near the border of Italy. Spread out on the high, broad Valais plateau 1,500 meters above the floor of the Rhône valley, the sunny slopes command a panoramic view of some of the most storied peaks in Alpine lore: Matterhorn, Mont-Blanc, the Weisshorn, and the Dent-Blanche. This massive resort town is also known for some of the finest shopping in the Alps.

Crans Montana has a rich skiing history and sits in the shadow of world-class ski mountains. With 50 runs accessible by 28 lifts, this area favors the beginner and intermediate skier or boarder. The massive lift system means few lift lines and more time on the slopes. However, be prepared for the town bus ride to and from the lifts daily as well as hiking up and down the steep village roads.
