Linked by a cable car, the villages of Lech and Zurs in the Arlberg region of Austria offer skiing for every level. Beginners and intermediate skiers can enjoy the groomed slopes of both villages, while the more adventurous, advanced skiers can ski off-piste with certified guides. Additionally, there are 25km of cross-country ski tracks.

As for nightlife, once the ski slopes close, the main street of Lech turns into one, long après ski bar! Sidewalk cafés run into each other, with many drinking Jagatee, tea spiked with rum, the most popular early evening drink of choice. As the night wears on, visit Tannbergerhof, one of four discotheques in the village.
